![]() Inside the United States things are vastly different. In areas outside of the United States paper Vintage is played almost exclusively within the constraints of officially-sanctioned tournament rules. Many of the cards for sanctioned paper Vintage are outrageously priced (although you can get them for much less if you're willing to bend on condition considerably). Beyond that, there is the $20,000 elephant in the room the availability and cost of staple Vintage cards. The Vintage format doesn't get nearly the amount of coverage or content dedicated to it that Standard or Limited does (although lucky for you, MTGGoldfish is cool like that). Vintage has the smallest player base of all constructed formats for a few different reasons. ![]()
